SunTrust Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves is the first of its kind -- a destination that simultaneously builds and integrates a state-of-the-art Major League Baseball ballpark with a multi-use development and community.

The Battery

The Battery Atlanta is for Atlanta Braves fans before and after the game at SunTrust Park. The Battery Atlanta brings baseball fans nine restaurants, four retail stores, a music venue, a hotel, and more permanent residences. The Battery is continuing to develop with plans for another hotel in the works as part of the mixed-use development.

Powers Ferry Corridor Alliance (Formerly Terrell Mill Community Association)

In The Terrell Mill Community Association was formed in 2007, and was renamed in 2016 as The Powers Ferry Corridor Alliance (PFCA). The PFCA is a group of area residents,business owners, managers, and homeowners association leaders who are working together with our county officials to guide the redevelopment and reviatalization of the Powers Ferry Corridor.

The PFCA is leading the way on a range of community-development initiatives, such as zoning and land use, education, traffic, public safety, and recreation. The PFCA provided input to the Powers Ferry Master Plan, a 20-year blueprint for the overall redevelopment of the area. Additionally, the PFCA continues to support efforts to ensure that future housing in the area provides a balanced socio-economic mix to sustain profitable businesses and quality schools. The PFCA is also lobbying to implement traffic alternatives in the area to reduce commute times and ease gridlock.
